When I was a teenager the number one story the dad's swapped at the barber shop was the fabled "one hundred mile per gallon carburetor".

This story has been floating around forever in a million different versions.

"I hear that the big auto companies stole the patent" they would say.

"No it's the oil companies they want to sell more fuel" would be the reply.

Let's talk about reality. Actual real world reality.

Making a 100mpg car is not only doable today it's being done. And that will continue to improve well on up to 500mpg and beyond.

But what everyone needs to know is that the inventor of the diesel motor told everybody that it was designed to run on mowed grass. Mow your lawn and you have fuel to go to work each week in your garage called bio-diesel.
