Crazy prices, considering the dead crickets are only $29.95 /lb. Who can afford to switch from beef when the bugs are up to 10X more expensive?
They cracked one open so I could sniff. The odor of the dead crickets could be the basis of a weight loss program. Pretty much smelled like several hundred dead crickets, if you can imagine. Not sure toasting would help.
I think the whole point is that they won't tell us. I know all the blah about loss of taste wasn't new when sick but compared to covid loss of taste? How long is the forgetting curve again? Like when the other day I said kfc shouldn't be able to use "original recipe since whatever year" anymore since hell no its not and the husband reminded me it's "recipe" not "ingredients.
