Article says large window however looks more like emergency exit. Someone must have really f’d up, those normally must be pulled in and rotated before ejection.

I suspected it was a Boeing when I saw the headline. Between their diversity hardware and software engineering it's amazing they can keep a plane in the air. Their pajeet MCAS software killed almost 350 people in the last few years.

I’m not impressed with that 737 model or Alaska Airlines. They have both had a number of problems.

Diversity hire mechanics . I wouldn't fly anywhere.

What race were the pilots?

Why would you ask such a RAYSIS question as what race were the pilots? What the fuck man? The correct question is what was the race of the person who installed that window!

Not a pilot issue, either door was defective or not installed correctly. Door would normally plug the hole so impossible to “blow out”

Anyone with Max knowledge explain that doorway/window?

1. Normally openings in pressure hull plug from the inside so they cant blow out, that one looks like its bolted in and would blow out if the fasteners failed.

2. Thats an unusual place for an emergency exit door, not above the wing. Do they use common fuselage sections where in a different model the opening would end up above the wing?

TIA

Not sure where that block of text is from however it falls apart in a number of areas-

The max has 6 emergency exits - 2 front, 2 rear and 2 over wing. That door is none of those. There is no room for a slide pak on that door, photos clearly show the seats right up against it and those paks are huge. Im not aware of any plugged door ever blowing out, this door did failing their reliability clause, oh wait wasnt the software supposed to improve max reliability too before it failed and killed hundreds!

I’ve had and experienced worse, this was just good funny. If your passengers ain’t crying, they are dying. Don’t kill them. Don’t let them die. That’s your job as a crewman.

Mind expanding on your experience

No, I don’t want to dox myself. But if we were sitting in a bar, having a drink I could regale you with stories, hopefully yours are better, but the exchange would be fun

I'd not be crying about a hole as we were able to descend to where we could all breathe. They got up to 15k which would be uncomfortable, but 10k should be fine to breathe in with just a little discomfor.
