If they ever visited old liveleak, they would have learned on day 1. You don't film vertical. Ever. (Unless it's someone falling off a building, bridge, cliff, etc.)
The funniest thing ever is when the government tells you that you can’t do something. Who do they think they work for? California has been violating my rights forever, I still don’t follow their stupid laws.
It's a nice display of rebellion. Only if they could get something going that would actually improve their life as subjects to corrupt authoritarian parasites.
That would require possibly suffering negative consequences. It's been my experience that even catching a whiff of some authority being exercised will cow the vast majority of people.
Pretty sure fireworks are still illegal in Ireland. We only use them for Halloween and new years and they’re not hard to get, but you can’t buy them in shops or anything. The weird thing is to buy them legally we have to go up north, to the part of the country that had a 30 year long civil war quite recently, where fireworks have never been illegal. The law is an ass.

I was in Kaneohe this year, more fireworks went off than anyplace I've ever been. Way more than I ever saw in Washington where fireworks were legal. I asked some folks, where did you get the fireworks, they said Uncle got them for free.
Something very very fishy about this. Fireworks are illegal and it's an island in the middle of the pacific. Illegal fireworks used to be quite expensive as they must be smuggled.
This year they are free and everybody has them? How?
They bring that shit in by the shipping container. It's not illegal to buy wholesale from the fireworks factory, it's not illegal to ship them to the island in Matson cargo container, and it's not illegal to be in possession of many thousands of dollars in fireworks. It's only illegal to sell them on the open market. I know who to call anytime I want to buy a case of high end mortars that would make Texas jizz their jeans.
The real lesson that should have been learned when they ban fire works you can buy? You learn to make some really big fire works and set those off at a safe distance
It's like that every year I'm on the big island and it was like Hilo was having a civil war with Pahoa. The sky lights up for hours in every direction. You hear them going off for a week before and a week after every major holiday. New Year's, Chinese New Year's, and Independence Day are just a good excuse to blow shit up.
I know exactly how it is. I lived on Oahu for four years. It’s insane. I don’t understand how fireworks were banned but that amount of fireworks still makes it to the people. It doesn’t really add up.
