You’d be surprised. One of the cooler venues I’ve played is Monas. Tons of great musicians. It does lean more newgrass/jazzy than Appalachian.

I wouldn’t. I just really enjoy naming things. Aside from the theme song to “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou,” I have never listened to a Bluegrass song in its entirety. Not my thing.
