Did anyone like Oppenheimer?

submitted by x0x7 to movies 4 monthsDec 31, 2023 23:27:42 ago (+11/-0)     (movies)

I just tried to watch it. I'm always late to any movie I watch and feel no need to see a movie anytime close to when it comes out. This is the closest I get to watch a movie on time. It was painful. The writing and dialog was so bad that if I was watching a daytime soap I would have thought the people who made it were unqualified. The Room is more movie like. It's just a series of very short and nearly pointless conversations each about 6 seconds long for the first 25 minutes just to establish that he is a physicist. Not a single second of it didn't feel awkward and shoe-horned It felt like a movie for mentally under-developed leftoids to watch to feel like they are adulting by watching it. It was a very very cheap imitation of what a serious movie would look like.

Then of course it needs to pivot to the political. No warm up. No, just instant shoved in your face communism. The only way you could possibly like the movie is if you felt obligated to like it, as the left are want to do with everything they like.

I made the mistake of watching it with my family. It's always a fun experience seeing tits with your fam. It was at that point I just said, you know this awkwardness is not worth it for a movie this bad. I will bare seeing tits with my family for a better movie, but not this one.

0.3/10. To say it were a solid full grade below The Room would be an insult to The Room. The mere thought that any number of people would pretend to enjoy such a thing leaves me with undiluted contempt for society as a whole.

It's basically "Iron Man, but Tony Stark never puts on his fucking suit, so what's the fucking point!".

It was a shit movie, designed for the goyim to pretend they are smart by watching it

[ - ] AngryWhiteKeyboardWarrior 3 points 4 monthsDec 31, 2023 23:50:43 ago (+3/-0)

Watched about 30-45 minutes of it before stopping.

Tits were the best part, and that's not saying much.

Very jewish, this movie, and shot too artsy-fartsy style for me.

Well shit, the only movie I even slightly considered seeing in the last ten years and you just convinced me not to waste my time.

The only new movies you should watch are things like White Noise and Leave the World Behind so the elite can tell you what they plan to do to you before they do it. Less surprising that way.

Christopher Nolan's other movies are really good. You should watch those.

Why would I watch jewish programming?

No movies. Don't need the brain poison.

Sounds like Oppenheimer was really good at putting together other peoples work and presenting it. At-least early in his career.

I responded to your message in MATRIX, Hope I didn't sound too pissy...

Nice. I just read it. It's a reasonable response. I just think a lot of modern homelessness is a result of near full time drug use, and that full time drug use is a product of safety nets. Handing people things is how they could make a sustainable counter culture of being broken that invites more people to join that counter culture. Handing more things to people isn't going to solve that. If people are maximally broken in a house or broken on the sunny streets of California I think both have about equal dignity.

I do agree, I think that when it comes to helping the poor, most people just want to solve the immediate need without fixing the foundational flaws. ie. "Let's slap a bandaid on it and just move on." There has to be a system in place, where all people can be contributors to society at some level. Mental illness has hit pandemic levels globally. I think this world needs an enema! We have too much technology, too much social media, too many things broken, a bloated government. There's so many thing to address, that would make this world a better place. But no one give a fuck. Let's just keep the money machine going Bbbbrrrrrrr!!! From the printing press to the debt clock...

Sorry for the rant, If this doesn't make sense, I'll accept "PISS OFF!" as a response....

Social media and it's ills, namely poisoning generations of children is a direct result of the internet and JOOZ. I've long thought that the damage done to all levels of society by the degeneracy of the internet in total far outweighed being able to look up a good apple pie recipe. The porn available too all ages of children is in my opinion good enough reason to pull the plug. The internet is ruining kids and family's. Would it really be so bad to shut off the internet and force kids to pick up a damn book? It seemed to work for centuries. I know it's a shame that people will have to learn about anal sex from somewhere else but it seems like a small sacrifice to force families back together and away from the electronic JOOZ.

Don't buy a kid a phone. Don't watch TV. No electronics in the bedroom, no candy, no corn syrup. Only books, lots of books. And read the books to make sure they are good.

I did it.
I did the things of which you speak IRL.

My daughter does not have a cell phone.
She has no internet connectable devices.
She did for a time, but I wrote screen monitoring software (randomly times screengrabs, dns lookup logs)

Yea, once you see what your kid will find through their eyes, You will have no trouble ending it like a GigaParent.
Youtube is pure evil and knows when it's a kiddo.
RoBlox is a pedo platform.
Minecraft online servers are a congregation point.

14 year olds with snapchat, instagram, tumblr and discord.

I may disagree on many things, and I am in fact a Technology advocate.
You are correct about the electric joo, tis pure evil and corruption.

We have done it all wrong. (Actually, 'we' didn't do it, commercial interests did it, but we let them)

I did not see high hopes for that one.
I watched the 'Leave the world behind' instead, it's probably worse for so many reasons.

In LTWB, I don't even have to mention the whitey demonization, my Family saw it right away.

Their training is nearly complete.

WTF happened in this thread? First it's about fake old Oppenheimer, then it's goes straight into discussing drug use and homelessness. Huh?

Threads here on UpGoat always get sidetracked. Maddening!

PS: Nothing in the movie is about real events. It was just another government fraud.

Which book did they use to base the movie on and did they reference his passing secrets to the USSR so they could ramp up production of their Nuclear bomb? Because he did.

"Oppenheimer: Portrait of an Enigma" by Jeremy Bernstein?

[ - ] Jumpanig 0 points 4 monthsJan 1, 2024 08:52:27 ago (+0/-0)

The story of Oppenheimer is a fantastic, slightly tragic tale of a genius who was given unlimited power. The book of his life is amazing.

This movie was a load of shite, total bollocks, as shit a biopic as The Imitation Game. Why the fuck him knocking the back out of Florence Pugh has anything to do with his scientific method nobody will ever know. Nobody gives a fuck about Oppenheimers personal life, focus on some kind of science.
It's not important that he was fucking some woman, It's not important than Turing gay, present their fucking achievements you retarded assholes.

They also let Edward Teller off very very lightly, but it's hollywood, where Jew crimes are treated with a gentle stroke.
