Every movie coming out in 2024 is shit

submitted by RobertJHarsh to movies 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 12:36:17 ago (+32/-0)     (variety.com)

https://variety.com/lists/most-anticipated-movies-2024/spider-man-beyond-the-spider-verse-date-tk/

Side note, if you've seen ANY Ryan Reynolds movie, you've seen Deadpool 3. Do we need a Matrix...err...John Wick spinoff, another Bad Nogs, or a civil war movie with no doubt the kikes are the good guys?

How is this different from the last 30 years? It's all been crap.

[ - ] TheNoticing 1 point 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 20:23:40 ago (+1/-0)

There were great movies like Tombstone and Twister.

[ - ] Clubberlang 1 point 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 22:31:26 ago (+1/-0)

Tombstone

You may get a shot off but not before I make your head into a canoe!

đź‘Ť

Another underrated movie was Last Man Standing with Bruce Willis.

[ - ] Lost_In_The_Thinking 0 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 23:43:07 ago (+0/-0)

Last Man Standing, like A Fistful of Dollars (1964), is a retelling of the story in Yojimbo (1961), which is itself based on Dashiell Hammett's 1927 novel "Red Harvest". I've seen Yojumbo a few times, as I have A Fistful of Dollars, and both are terrific. Last Man Standing isn't in that class, but it's very good. I'd recommend reading the book by Dashiell Hammett for the full experience.

Tanks fer duh recommendation!

A Fistfull of Dynamite (1971) is another good film.

Twister was full of cliches, but Tombstone was fun, if not terribly accurate. But it has a lot of charm.

Blessing in disguise. The clock is running and now you don't feel like wasting time on stupid movies. Read a book. Or, even better in some ways, listen to an audio book while practicing some new skill.

[ - ] TheNoticing 1 point 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 20:15:40 ago (+1/-0)

I've been listening to audiobooks when doing either monotonous tasks or riding public transport, because it allows me to take in a book while being aware of my surroundings.

Movies are jew propaganda. Of course it's shit.

Goblin Slayer is great. There were some great lines in an episode that I wanted to screenshot, they described jews perfectly.

[ - ] Leveraction 2 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 15:18:03 ago (+2/-0)

What do a mean, movies from the last 10 years have been shit.

[ - ] RMGoetbbels 2 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 13:19:22 ago (+4/-2)

A Quiet Place Day one might be alright, I liked the first one.

But yeah, this list is total shit of remakes and part 2,3,4,5,10. The past few years of movies have been total shit too. So sick of women heroes, super powers and black secret agents. It's fucking tired.

It's why I started watching foreign movies. A lot of Poo movies because they are usually funny and family friendly. Korean movies because they are mostly traditional. European movies are sometimes not woke.

One of my all time favorites- The Secret in Their Eyes

Interview with a Hitman was also really good.

Oooooh! Red Dog. I've watched that 3 times at least.

My Wife is a Gangster 3

Instructions Not Included

A Man Called Ove

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Usually Jason Stathom movies are alright in my book.

[ - ] dulcima 2 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 18:52:51 ago (+2/-0)

Some independent movies are okay. Have to check carefully though, because a lot are "arty" aka degenerate.

Downvoat for watching smelly Bollywood bullshit. Sorry

Looking forward to Furiosa and Dune 2.

Maybe Joker 2, Deadpool 3 and Twisters.

That's about it.

Just watch Leave the World Behind and figure that and civil war are predictive setups the same way that movie about the chemical spill filmed where that chemical spill later happened was. Oh and the chemical spill one was filmed in East Palestine and then bam, Palestine.

[ - ] Clubberlang 1 point 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 22:35:22 ago (+1/-0)

I was gonna say Maui but they gave them 700 dollars. Good thing Ukraine is looking out for American freedom with our 132 billion of tax payer money.

[ - ] AngryWhiteKeyboardWarrior 1 point 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 13:07:48 ago (+1/-0)

I'll pirate Deadpool 3 and maybe Civil War and that western.

The Transformers movies suck ass, but this one looks extra gay. No Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus Prime, and Megatron got blacked.

[ - ] Monica 3 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 13:44:09 ago (+3/-0)

[ - ] BoozyB 2 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 15:01:22 ago (+2/-0)*

This. Take heed.

Read a book. Use your imagination to create the movie in your mind.
It's good exercise for your synapses.

[ - ] SilentByAssociation 2 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 15:09:25 ago (+2/-0)

Wait, are you one of those people with an "internal monologue"?

[ - ] Sector2 1 point 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 17:18:45 ago (+1/-0)

It's a challenge to get a word in edgewise.

[ - ] BoozyB 1 point 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 19:09:51 ago (+1/-0)

Wypipo have an internal monologue.
It's what make us special.

Written and directed by John Krasinski, comedy film “IF” stars Krasinski, Ryan Reynolds and Phoebe Waller-Bridge in this tale that asks: what if your imaginary friends weren’t imaginary? One young girl will find out the answer to that question after she starts seeing the imaginary friends created by those around her.

its called drop dead fred you stupid fag hack krasinski

[ - ] NoRefunds 0 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 18:01:15 ago (+0/-0)

God damn how many sequels were there just to ruin franchises

[ - ] RobertJHarsh [op] 0 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 20:02:22 ago (+0/-0)

I can get the MCU. Deadpool wasn't bad and I get they want to string together movies with the characters and that makes sense. I would like to see a Fantastic 4 that doesn't suck. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is awesome. But that "put in a lesbian, make it gay, make it lame" ruined it. I still haven't bothered downloading The Marvels yet and I probably won't.

[ - ] kammmmak 0 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 16:16:47 ago (+0/-0)

The Last Kingdom and Outlander are pretty damn good but especially being TV series.

[ - ] kammmmak 0 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 16:10:01 ago (+0/-0)

Constantine 2 looks like sheer extra cringe crap

[ - ] Deplorablepoetry 0 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 14:14:17 ago (+0/-0)

Beetle juice II without Alec Baldwin? What,? people are afraid of casting a murderer?

[ - ] Clubberlang 0 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 22:40:13 ago (+0/-0)

I was suprised they didn't work a Riddick joke into Fast X.

That would've be my top priority and then have him do gun fingers to the camera.

[ - ] Kozel -2 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 14:04:35 ago (+1/-3)

Akhtually, I scrolled through the list and found these three titles so not EVERY movie in 2024 is shit, bigot.

- Dune: Part Two
- Gladiator 2
- Sonic the Hedgehog 3

[ - ] Hermes 2 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 14:32:19 ago (+2/-0)

Remakes and sequels for retards

[ - ] Kozel 0 points 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 15:51:36 ago (+0/-0)

Dune is not a sequel The book is thick and story is too big to fit into movie length. Its also not a remake, its a film adaptation of a book.

Don't know if there are different versions, but a "Dune" movie I partly watched was memorable as the most unexpectedly disgusting movie I've ever seen.

[ - ] Kozel 1 point 4 monthsDec 28, 2023 19:31:44 ago (+1/-0)

Probably one of the harkonen scenes from 1984 Dune. Harkonen bad.
