I've owned a couple of Glocks

They are super reliable.

Maybe now they'll finally produce a carbine.

Only if they actually have something new to offer, I don't need an AR-15 with a Glock roll mark.

A great man...his inventions erased the worthless lives of countless niggers and assorted shitskins.

Of course they show a sheboon hand holding one.

I still remember the news report I watched in 1985 or so about how they were worried about these new plastic guns that could get past airport xrays. (they couldn't)

RIP Gaston.

Maybe now both the whiners and fanboys can finally shut up about Glock's lack of innovation. The whole reason the product line stayed monotonous was because Gaston truly bought into his own "Perfection" hype. That's bound to change.

Some things were done right the first time, like the AK 47 and the Fender Stratocaster guitar

I don't totally disagree with that. I've got two Gen1 G17s, a former DC police Gen2 G19, among others. Funnily enough, everyone says Gen3 was "perfection", yet that's the only generation of Glock I don't own. No, I'm not a Glock fanboy; I just happen to have a lot of them.

As for the AK, it most certainly was not done right the first time. The original stampings were a total failure, so they had to compromise with milled receivers in the interim while they got their shit together. "Compromise" is a loose term, because milled AKs are fucking awesome.

I didn't mean the prototypes, I meant the version that is still being made today by the millions. AKs are all over the world, manufactured by dozens of companies, for a reason. Slight variations, but basically the same 1940s design.
