The problem with your assumptions is that Kevin Spacey already went to trial and proved his innocence because he keeps all his receipts. For every charge, he had a paper proving that he either wasn't in the place someone said that he was or that the events were wildly different from what was stated. Face it, he's not the bad guy everyone wishes him to be.
