Paranoid King Herod had all the males under the age of two in Bethlehem killed after hearing from the wise men they were going there to greet and celebrate the arrival / birth of 'the King of the joo's'. The wise men had a vision/ dream that King Herod had ulterior motives for wanting to know if they found this 'King' so purposely avoided returning to Herod to let him know, upon realizing the wise men had nixxed him, Herod ordered all under two's 'eliminated' as that age bracket correlated back to the time of the birth.
If any of you illiterate retards could open a bible, you'd see that this was ordered by King Herod, also a jew, who allegedly saw the birth of Jesus as a threat to his reign. See Matthew 2:16–18. I may not believe in the bible, but I do know it. Of course, it never happened, because the Romans kept pretty careful watch on what their eastern Mediterranean colony was doing, and if there were a massacre of the innocents in Bethlehem, you can bet it would have been documented.
This biblical account was used later in a 16th century Christmas carol called the Coventry Carol. It's beautiful and haunting.

Not necessarily, the town of Bethlehem, only had around 1000-1500 residents total (possibly up to 2 dozen under twos - of which half may have been female) - so the killing of 6 -20 boys may not have been that big a deal considering infant mortality was huge in the ancient world and the liquidation of a dozen or so infants from some obscure village would have hardly registered as a blip in any case. Far from the 'claimed' hundreds or indeed thousands of murdered innocents.
' Christians venerate the Holy Innocents as the first Christian martyrs, but a majority of Herod biographers, and "probably a majority of current biblical scholars" consider the story fabricated or unhistorical.'
Uhuh, conseusus agreement by 'scholars' - yea no thanks, totes not interested in 'trusting the experts'
As a religion (Talmudism) it was invented after Jesus's death. As an ethnic group it was also invented after Jesus's death. Ashkanizi jews are like 2% actual jewish so it is a made up ethnicity / modern ethnicity that has nothing to do with ancient Hebrews.
The religion existed before christianity, the ethnic group existed well before the birth of jesus. Ashkenazi jews are a admixture sub branch and arent the only jewish group to exist, they are also well above 2% jewish, they are genetically provable through DNA testing to be predominately jewish and less than half German.

Those areas were populated with Armenian and other Levant peoples - not just Canaanites, which I think you are referring to.
