I fell for the electric hype. I'll never buy another NISSAN again, Electric or otherwise!

They have a warranty on their NISSAN LEAF EV (8 years 70,000 miles). When I contacted them on the warranty due to diminished battery capacity, and drastic loss of range on my six year old car, they essentially told me to fuck off!

This is why I am not interested in EVs. The batteries are expensive as fuck and they diminish.

Because they were designed to be that way, so as not to compete with the status quo. Would you be surprised to learn that America had electric cars before petrol (Circa 1910)? Planned obsolescence exists in many forms...

My guess is that big oil is losing market share in an already tight market and they went up to the Capitol and sucked dick to get the EV industry shutdown...
