"IMO if they really were a scam they would A. Target something less fringe B. Would have taken the money and ran by now C. Would not actively being doing laboratory test"

A. They targeted circumcision because it was a fringe topic, it's better for dirty deeds to be done in the shadows with few skeptical eyes to cast suspicion upon it. The small group of men who donate would likely be willing to donate well due to the niche nature of the cause. A scam doesn't need to only consider the numbers they pull, they also need to consider the likelihood of getting caught.
This line of thinking is like a small store owner not investing in security because they think that robbers will only be hitting places with a lot of money like a bank, failing to see the advantages of robbing a store that compensates for the small amount of cash being kept on site.

B. No, they are milking the money of out delusionally hopeful victims who want to fund something that in no way seems reasonable. There's no reason to run when they can keep the grift going and continue raking in the cash. Not all scams operate like a street con, in fact most are continuous arrangements that end only when people become too suspicious to continue funding the fraud.

C. What they are doing is just for show, they are putting on some theatrics to keep the money coming in, they sell you empty hopes and they live off of the regular hopium subscriptions.

Think about it this way: What they are claiming to do is restore lost muscles and nerves lost in an amputation with full functionality returning to the lost part of the body, they even make the claim of the restoration not resulting in disfigurement or risk.

This would be groundbreaking as it could be applied to any similar bodily losses, or as a bridge to other groundbreaking medical miracles, these guys should be able to get heavy funding from governments and universities, they should be having cutting edge laboratories with teams of the world's finest medical researchers. Wealthy elites like Elon Musk should be recruiting these guys and applying this research to the forefront of medicine. Restoring foreskins? How about restoring lost nervous or muscular functionality in the victims of seriously disabling accidents?

But they are collecting donations through crowdfunding, and seemingly only interested in the foreskin angle of the research. This smells like bullshit from top to bottom. If they wanted to make this a reality and they were actually pursuing a way to accomplish this breakthrough, they would have taken a much smarter path to procure their resources and sell people on the benefits of this research.

Foregen is a scam and transparently so.
