But we do, next time you go shopping, look closely at your food. Almost all of it has been marked, "K" for "Kosher certified" or "U" for "Ultra-Orthodox Kosher certified". This goes for "Halal" just as well as it does for "Kosher", as most markings are double-purpose, you are buying Halal meat whenever you get chicken or beef at most places you can shop at, especially if it comes through a megacorp like walmart, costco, or amazon.

You'd just be pissing in your own food.

Except there is a problem with kosher/halal meat: It's usually tougher and muskier. The meat is contaminated by adrenaline in the animals' last moments of pain and panic. Kosher and halal slaughter aren't even efficient, despite some modern industrialized elements.
