To me, it looks like a long term conspiracy of food and culture manipulation to seize the best places for (((billionaires))).

I have a particular fondness for the Cook Islands. Robert Frisbie (Island of Desire) and later Tom Neal (An Island to Oneself) lived in isolation on Suvarov atoll.

Frisbie with his kids rode out a hurricane ther in 1942 which washed most of the island away. Great books.
