The statue is of Hamuman, the monkey faced hero of the Ramayana. I've read the book. His people built a stone causeway from India to Ceylon (Sri Lanka) long long ago to fight a battle against an evil king. That causeway is still visible by satellite photos and is still called Rama's Bridge.

Whatever Hanuman was, he is a historic figure. Now that so many Hindus live in Canada, let them have their fun. Hindus and Buddhists are no danger to the west. We have biggger fish to fry.

Indians are currently the biggest threat to the west. India alone is the second most populous country and they are flooding the west with streetshitters. In 5-10 years the west will all look like London, 80%+ curry.
