Think it was Col Macgregor who said his sources reported majority of jewish civilian deaths in first day were due to over zealous and inexperienced idf. There is gun camera video of their pilots strafing and bombing jewish partygoers at that concert.

That tracks with my experience. I've said for decades that the israel had a 3rd rate military that had been blessed with 5th rate opponents.
