1) Use the browser extension "uBlock Origin", which blocks ads on Youtube and around the internet.

2) Use the browser extension "Unhook Youtube", which removes Youtube's right-column of recommended videos.

I'd like to see fewer black people on voat. You all want to make fun of them I get it. But sometimes it would be nice to have a space with zero black influence.

I thought about banning black people on gvid, but being consistent with free speech was more important. Then I thought about making a second site with zero black people, but realized probably even fewer people would use it.

I guess it's still possible on gvid. Anyone can add keywords to videos. And there is optional keyword blocking. If people added black to any video with a black person in it, you could then set up a keyword block and BAM gvid with zero black people.

You could have a flag on videos that any user could set via a button submit, that automatically adds "black" to the keywords of a video. If the original poster unsets the flag after it is set, it can't be reset to "black" (this is to avoid brigading). Just throwing that out there.

If you click on the three dots next to the right-panel recommendations, it has a 'do not recommend' option. Refresh the page, you will no longer see it. I have blocked hundreds. There is also an option to block only that video from that channel. I automatically block anything with a bugman face in the thumbnail, no matter the topic. Same with niggers.

Yes, but the 'do not recommend' option only blocks that channel from Youtube recommendations, but not from Youtube search results.

The "Blocktube" browser extension will block that channel from both recommendations and search results.

Use a MITM box, such as DD-WRT, to filter/curate your internet. If you're not technically inclined, this may be a daunting task.

Idk why people suggest shit normies can't do? Log into your modem/router and change your DNS to whatever ad blocking option you want. Adguard uses 94.140.14.14 and 94.140.15.15 You'll have more or less ad free devices on your home internet. If you aren't tech retarded, look up PiHole instead of trying to get ddwrt configured.

You might be able to set your Roku up to use those DNS addresses, but you'll like having the whole house ad free.
