When I was in college there was a really bad bunch of storms. Tornadoes fucked the grid up. The whole town didn’t have power for about 18 hours. I saw how quickly shit can hit the fan. Every store closed. Nobody had food cause were broke college students. We walked to a gas station it had a line they shut down. People were losing it so fast. It was eye opening. Me and my neighbors have literally already gone through it. It won't be an issue unless the west coast falls into the ocean, or we have a nuclear war. At which point it will be hard, but literally everyone farms where I live, dear and turkeys are actually a problem due to being overpopulated, and there's a giant herd of elk.

This is going to sound weird but there was a time when every Sunday I was living without electricity. Just making a point to. A big part of electricity is psychology. The number one thing you need to do is relax and stop consuming so much. Your psychology will tell you to do the opposite because you are so used to all this engaging bullshit your mind will be racing far more than is actually ideal because that's all it knows.

All the people who burned down their houses with lamps are people who didn't realize it's ok to go to bed when the sun goes down.

One thing you should be training is your capacity to slow down.

rural america is still mostly white.

In events of emergency the national guard and FEMA shows up with food and water, 2023 America is not 90's siberia / rural russia.

Despite FEMA and the national guard being pozzed a small portion of America getting wrecked by a storm / blizzard / hurricane / etc will not result in breakdown of white society. I have gone without power for a month during hurricane katrina, gone without power for weeks for multiple other major hurricanes, there was no looting or murder in my town, of course my town was 90% white.

now the niggers during hurricane Katrina just went from feral level 4 to feral level 6, not a big jump but also not surprising, they don't need much motivation to burn, riot, and/or loot.

I was reading this thread last night very interesting stuff about society breakdown during Katrina. Major takeaway is never surrender your guns if national guard comes around to disarm during disaster for “safety” or some bullshit. And have about a month of non perishable food and water stocked up.

Cities like Berlin would turn into chaos, looting and murder within 2 days. At least here in Germany, cellphone towers have emergency power for 12 hours (*when it works). After that, no phone, no lights, no cameras, no alarms.

I own three generators:

Big genie can power a house, two 220V outputs.., it’s super fucking loud

Middle genie is brand new out of the box, never used, it sits in a closet waiting for doom

Little genie is super duper, small, quiet, power up most things, forget refrigerator

….shit hits the fan I’m most likely going to jump off my balcony……., yup

Those are the power stations with the larger battery packs that can perform like a generator (similar outputs.) they require large solar panels to recharge them or a generator/ vehicle alternator to recharge them. Campers and RV owners like them because they are quiet and portable.

I get your point, they do not generate electricity. They are called “generators” simply because they output electricity like a generator but need to be recharged instead of refueled. It’s more of a convenience to call them “power generators” because that describes how they perform rather then call them “batteries that output power like a gasoline powered generator” it’s just a marketing label.
