Yeah, that's true. This is flight sim audio matched up with a video of a Chinese jetliner taxiing. Air traffic controllers don't actually sound like that, and they're specifically trained to never sound like they're sick of your shit.
When I have the language barrier, I first AVOID NOT, because if misheard they hear the opposite. Then I break instructions into very small chunks. Don't give several things at once.
I get what you're saying, but there shouldn't be a language barrier if you pilot a plane internationally. ATC ain't a fuckin traffic light, hundreds of people can die if you can't understand what they're saying. If you regularly fly a route into an English speaking country, you should damn well know how to properly communicate intentions and understand how to interpret direct orders. This isn't like being a cabbie in NY city. The responsibility to pilot a jetliner isn't a job for retards. There's more to it than knowing how to take off, land, and fly by wire to your destination.
Take some responsibility, WE allowed them to break our society, we have all since being born been bought up with a very false narrative and we have all fallen for it until we finally understood that it was utter bullshit.

Oh man, there are plenty of cases where ATC loses their cool. Some places are infamous for it- JFK, SFO, and various towers in S. Florida to name a few. San Carlos has one particularly unprofessional controller who has been making the rounds lately for being King Asshole on several occassions (and hilariously failing to defend his actions as an anon in the comments), but he's not operating in an FAA controlled tower, so has yet to see conseqeunces. There was one memorable exchange where JFK picked a fight with a pilot, the pilot accidentally muttered a retort under a hot mic, and the controller said "Do you want to step outside and say that?". Fucking lol.
