Intriguing, however I am also not a fire expert but I do know that cars usually have some amount of gasoline in them and the synthetic interior burns very nicely, whereas live trees tend to be filled with water and don't burn so easily.

That's a good point, except that the metal on cars and buildings is melted, which surely would be hot enough to burn a palm tree or some grass. You can't see the melted metal in the drone footage, of course, but in this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_uTeolOxDg you can. Also doesn't explain why some buildings burned hot enough to melt steel, but adjacent buildings aren't even touched.
