You accepted currency as a means for your survival, equating it with value, while a small number of people are able to print that currency and thus command arbitrary amounts of value within the economic system you agreed to be a part of by exchanging that currency.
That's the real agencied action that signed you up for this. And I'm no better because I've accepted and spend USD too. But the difference is at least I'm aware of where their power comes from and what I've done to give it to them. I don't have all the answers for getting out, but at least I can see the trap.
Knowing the root of the issue, admitting we are culpable by staying comfortable, and making a plea for deeper thought into the issue.
That's a start. Combine that with removing the mental prison that grants them the monopoly on violence and espionage and we might actually get somewhere.
