He's not a gatekeeper. He's a poisoned well. He has some legitimate good info but he slips some kookery in too. This makes the good information look suspicious. Normies are trained to mock anyone citing Alex Jones by pointing out the kookery. This creates an immune response, inoculating normies against red pills.

This is advanced fifth generational warfare. The elites can't keep building reputations of information wells to poison so they once again give their existing asset a platform.

I don't disagree with this. I can see the elites having the ability to label anyone as a kook. Especially if the people are passionate in what they say, and discuss anything counter to the mainstream narrative.

Now whether the kookery is done on purpose for sinister reasons. Or a legit character flaw or occasional misrepresentation the facts I guess determines where their loyalties lie.
