There's a Peppa Pig where they get 'vaccinated' and it's explained that vaccines keep you from getting sick. This has more power over people (adults, not just unconscious kids) than studies (data) and personal experience (anecdotes) can ever have. We really are dealing with a cult, and these sorts of things are their incantations, murmured over and over to summon devils.
Magic is real and one of the crimes of Christianity is that it has convinced people that it's study forbidden. This allows our enemies to use it against us.
