jewtube Is Now Blocking uBlock Origin

jewtube is blocking it. I did everything I could to get around it -cleared cookies, cleared UBlock & even reset my internet.
Fuck youtube.

Open your Ublock options. Look for the tab that says Filter Lists. Go under the "Built In" subheading and look for "uBlock filters – Quick fixes". That is the thing we care about, responsible for fighting this bullshit. Look for the icon on the righthand side of listing, that looks like a clock. Click it, then click the blue button at the top of the page that says Update Now. You may need to hit the purge all lists button as well. I did both and it works for me. For now at least.

Yup, getting updates is important. They aren't always pushed quickly enough so you may have to do it manually like he said.

That being said, things like this are always a cat and mouse game, sometimes the cat wins, but only for awhile.

What device and browser are you using? I'm not having any issues.

Also, you can get a router that allows you to use the ad blacklists. If it is blocked at your router, youtube can't do anything about it.

Chrome, Firefox & Brave - jewtube has compromised them all. Only thing that works is ad speedup.

I'm not having that issue on any device, yet. I'm using ublock, ghostery, decentraleyes on Kiwi Browser.

The gang is disgusting. EBay uses perpetual cookies, and won't let you have an account if you use Proton email because thy can't read your mail.

They also intentionally do different anti-block for different users so we can't get on the same page about the fix.

Just invidious it. And if you prefer gvid.tv happens to function as an invidious but gives you based video suggestions beyond youtube's. Might as well do something to try to hurt them.

uMatrix here. Youtube started trying to show ads yesterday. Did some random settings changes [???], now today the ads don't even start after a brief flash in the time bar.

AdGuard AdBlocker is another good one. I use it with Blocktube to keep the trending trash at bay. Who is getting real aggressive are local news sites. They are making their sites almost unusable or locking up if you're running an adblocker. Ublock Origin does a better job of selective ad blocking and getting around the ad generating engines but I just don't fucking care enough. I just archive.is the shit now.

Brave browser+ ublock seems to do the trick on YouTube for me, also ad nauseum because fuck'em.
