Maybe, but if he is it's not too far from the truth. Big box store celery os often god awful and bitter as hell. Like tomatoes, if homegrown or sourced properly, celery can be fantastic without bitterness.

To a degree. I stopped del taco, KFC, etc when I was young, but I was in really good shape, swimming 4000+ yards a day.

I tried del taco again a year ago, I literally had diarrhea within an hour. I used to eat 30 tacos at a time there..

Idk about the taste, there’s a reason people get addicted to junk food.
However, I always feel disgusting and get a headache after eating any junk or fast food.
It’s the combination of the bad ingredients plus the artificial chemicals in those foods. I never feel sick after eating the homemade versions of the same food.

I had the best fucking pizza last weekend. From a small local chain. It was just plain cheese and pepperoni. Each bite was like heaven.

I'm curious about what you do. It gave me heart inflammation (11/2019, before the still-unseen "virus" took over the world). Went to the hospital because of a weird feeling in my left arm going up to my chin, next thing I know a catheter is being put in an artery to see if I'm having a heart attack.

Fuck Carl's Jr., I'd rather not eat for 5 days than eat their food ever again.

Well, at the first sign of bubbly guts, I start getting g ready for the storm.

I get a box of saltines and a six pack of ginger ale. I set up TWO beds amd take a big healthy dose of melatonin. Ya wanna try and sleep through as mu h of the sickness as possible. Then I start forcing liquids til I puke. Once the first puke and explosive diarrhea hits, that's it. You're in it for the long 12-16 hour ride.

I lie in one bed sweating. When I get up to puke and/or shit, I go lie down in the other bed while the one I was just in dries out. I just keep doing that. Switching from one bed while the other one dries. Believe me. When you have a fever a sweaty chills, nothing is worse than crawling back into a wet and clammy bed.

Once I can keep saltines and ginger ale down without puking, then it's just a nice 2-3 hour nap til I'm OK again.

I eat only real pizza made with fresh ingredients. BTW, I didn't like pizza in the beginning. Started to enjoy it only when got retired.
