Almost never drink soda, but when I do it comes from Mexico.

submitted by PeckerwoodPerry to Rants 11 monthsDec 1, 2023 20:44:24 ago (+19/-0)     (Rants)

Cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. It's fuckin leaps and bounds better than the "made in America" shit. Also, for some odd reason it's kosher and the American made shit isn't. Kinda makes you wonder, when kikes avoid it it's probably poison that they're knowingly feeding people. Shouldn't drink it at all, but when I do get a hankering for sugar water I want it made with real sugar.

Protip:
1. Get a keg and a CO2 tank.
2. Make koolaid.
3. Pressurize for a day.

Pure cane soda.

Good advice, but I really don't drink it often enough to invest that much time and energy. Really only bought it to mix with my whiskey, which I don't drink very often.

It's more like for Thanks Giving/Parties/Events
Your wallet will thank you.
The cost of equipment will pay for itself VS cans really fast.

I did it this thanks giving. Everyone loved my strawberry kiwi soda.
It was just koolaid.

HFCS is the worst additive ever placed in food bar none.

[ - ] Belfuro 1 point 11 monthsDec 1, 2023 23:21:23 ago (+1/-0)

Fructose requires the liver to break it down.
Resylting in fatty liver disease.

Its pretty close to poison

Yes and no.

Simple Carbohydrates such as monosaccharides are the easiest to breakdown, then disaccharides, and finally polysaccharides. I recalle oligosaccharides are a half way house between Mono and Di/poly with it being very, very difficult to break down.

Michael Mosley has a series all about it called the M Plan and he goes into extensive medical detail as a physician regarding metabolic function, purpose of carbs, etc.

Fructose is naturally occurring in honey, fruit and vegetables, its natural. Its becomes bad when you eat too much. Remember some fruits are natures deserts, don't eat junk food all day and your fine.

Fructose becomes bad when you are concentrating it in fake store bought juices when over 100g p/d.

Fructose (fruit sugar) is bad when its in HFCS (HIGH fructose corn syrup). Corn, especially sweet corn is atrocious for you when not sufficiently breaking down cellulose (insoluble fibre containing sugars - Sucrose is a disaccharide made up of 50% glucose and 50%). For starters you need a pH adjustment to make it alkaline to even think about eating that trash like the Aztec niggers used to do.

Blueberries and strawberries are great for you and are considered high in fructose (monosacchardies).

Thankfully HFCS is now banned in Australia. Our goywater/soda/soft-drinks now contain sucrose (cane/table sugar) a disaccharide similar to Mexican Cola or Original USA cola, although some contain sucralose, anotehr artificial goyslop product used by kikes for profit. You still should drink cola sparingly because its death water, but at least it ins't HFCS.

Its pretty close to poison

HFCS is banned in several countries and is classified exactly as a poison.

Just on an unrelated note, curb all the heavily processed pasta that is yellow as it contains furosine. Pasta is fine to eat when its its natural ivory colour. Fine, not great but fine.

Same goes for Potassium Bromate, Sodium Benzoate and all seed oils (such as soybean oil, corn oil, canola oil).

Interesting to read about the pasta, thanks!
I only buy imported pasta from Italy and it’s always ivory. I do remember seeing American pasta at the store and it is yellow.
I get my flour from France and it’s supreme.

Hahahahaha good one

[ - ] Ragnar 1 point 11 monthsDec 2, 2023 00:23:48 ago (+1/-0)

Is it, really? What about all the dyes? Formaldehyde? Titanium dioxide? Etc etc

[ - ] UncleDoug 0 points 11 monthsDec 2, 2023 00:26:47 ago (+0/-0)

You don't eat deodorant and formaldehyde was a morning sickness pill, not a food additive. But yes formaldehyde is one of the worst pharmaceuticals ever.

[ - ] Ragnar 3 points 11 monthsDec 2, 2023 00:30:41 ago (+3/-0)

Sorry, you must read your labels again. And again.
Titanium dioxide is added to foods and supplements.
Formaldehyde was in some “food” until the recent ban

[ - ] UncleDoug 2 points 11 monthsDec 2, 2023 00:50:56 ago (+2/-0)

My apologies:

titanium dioxide (TiO2) E171

Formaldehyde is regulated for safety in Australia. In Australia, formaldehyde is included in Schedule 6 of the Poisons Standard.

WTF! Nice find Ragnar.

No worries, bro. Stay vigilant

Ok but do you have any protips that aren't common knowledge from circa 2009 reddit?

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 11 monthsDec 2, 2023 00:28:19 ago (+0/-0)

Haha I didn’t know it was that old. I remember it from 2017 or something

[ - ] pickingrinninspittin 3 points 11 monthsDec 1, 2023 21:50:23 ago (+3/-0)

Fructose is metabolized differently than glucose (cane sugar). Whether it's worse for humans is a different discussion (though the short version is yes, it's worse) but the point I'm making is that HFCS is NOT the same thing as glucose. They are not interchangeable despite what the food industry tells you. Sucrose AKA table sugar also contains fructose and should be regarded similar to HFCS.

But don't start thinking that glucose is health food. It's better than HFCS but it's not good for you in any sense.

Do yourself a favor and cut out all refined carbohydrates. Most of your calories should come from fats and quality oils, then from protein, and finally a small amount from unrefined carbohydrates.

There's a whole discussion about nut and seeds oils that's equally as important here but suffice to say anything that's being fried/deep fried in any vegetable oil is fucking poison.

I do agree, however I’m not much into sweet drinks. Used to do vodka tonic, now it’s vodka soda, but only Perrier or Pelegrín’s. The club soda has preservatives in it that give you a hangover.

Yes yes yes old news

[ - ] Special_Prosecutor 0 points 11 monthsDec 2, 2023 03:06:11 ago (+0/-0)

Mexico does not regulate and audit food ingredient lists as well as the USA. It's likely that your Mexico "sugar" is actually HFCS.

[ - ] CoronaHoax 0 points 11 monthsDec 2, 2023 07:55:15 ago (+0/-0)

Just because it’s a Mexican brand you shouldn’t assume it’s not Americanized if it’s in US

[ - ] Glowbright 0 points 11 monthsDec 2, 2023 10:41:51 ago (+0/-0)

FYI - any Coka-cola product with a yellow cap is made with cane sugar. They switch over to cane sugar for part of the year to make kosher soda for the jews. I don't drink any of it regardless, but this is useful info if you are looking for a made-in-the-USA option.
