Moon landing?

So from the videos of people ‘walking on the moon’ it doesn’t seem to be very bright, even though they’re like, pretty close to it, or whatever. It’s pretty bright from my front porch.

Humans don’t believe anything unless they’ve seen it on tv. Also, humans believe anything they see on tv.

When I'm on my porch and it's cloudy the moon isn't as bright so maybe that's what was going on.

Both cameras and your eyes can adjust to light levels, varying what looks bright versus dark. You're looking at the moon against a wide backdrop of pitch black sky, so it will look bright in comparison.

Also, the moon is about as bright as the surface of a parking lot. So it's going to look comparatively dark if you're filming on the surface of it.

And the videos were taken using old technology. But this video looks decently bright to me, given what I said above:

Because Mars rotates every 24h37m, you’ll see almost the same face of the planet at the same time each night for several nights in a row. So either extend your observing session over several hours on one night, or at the same time over four to six weeks to see both sides of the planet.

Of course this witnessing with your own eyes all sides of the planet (with its white, southern, snow cap), I imagine is not "science" enough for you?

Dumb nigger. Mounted on the bottom of the landing gear's foot pad, there are "feelers": Once one touched the lunar surface, a lunar surface "contact light" lit, indicating to the crew that they were in close proximity to the surface and that they should cut the DPS engine.

You can hear Aldrin call, "Contact light" during the Apollo 11 landing.
