I've got an old buddy. He taught me carpentry and the art of the best turkey sandwich, but his brain is failing and he's got no more short term memory.

There's a protocol to repair nerve and brain damage. There's a good chance it'll help here. This first protocol is known as the Stamet's Protocol developed by Paul Stamets:

1. lion's mane 1-2g 2x/day

2. magic mushies as a microdose .1-.4g, (.1-.2 if you don't want any psychedelic effects at all, but a somewhat larger microdose does help if he's comfortable with it.) 1-2x/day

3. Niacin enough to trigger a niacin flush 1x/day. The main purpose here is to help the other two substances get where they need to be in a decent concentration. The flush dialates capillaries so 2 blood cells can fit in parallel rather than in single file lines.

This next list of supplements can be taken on their own to great effect and was developed to aid in recovery from traumatic brain injuries, but it's great for a variety of problems centered around the brain. If you combine it with the above protocol, it's even better.

-fish oil (5.6grams a day)
-high-potency multi-vitamin
-ginkgo and vinpocetine
-acetylcholine, acetyl-l-carnitine, and huperzine A
-alpha-lipoic acid and n-acetyl-cysteine

I'd add high dose vitamin C, aspirin and curcumin (a highly bioactive, bioavailable one). Just google those and alzheimers and you'll see a lot of positive results.

One thing to keep in mind with curcumin is that it's an MAO inhibitor. So, it will enhance the psychedelic effects of the mushrooms. I can verify this personally; at about 4 grams of curcumin, it seemed to increase the effects of the mushrooms by a good 30-50%. I'm not sure how much that might vary from person to person, but just be aware.

I've done it with most of that list, lion's mane, microdosing magic mushies, fish oil, ginkgo biloba, NAC, tumeric, black pepper to help the tumeric absorb. It's effective stuff. It causes a pretty immediate reduction in neuroinflammation, and it has helped a ton to repair my nervous system from the effects of lyme.

You have to start with a really good white bread (ask your mom), then spread a good brown mustard on both halves using a butter knife, swish it around a bit in the jar. I'm not sure if that part is important, but it's done.
next take a heap of turkey meat and slap it on violently like you're angry that you're eating it. Repeat this process until you have enough turkey.
Grab a big tomato and cut off a quarter inch to half inch bias slice in some random direction while cursing the lighting.
Then grab the finest of Vidallia onions and carefully slice an 1/8th inch round.
Discard almost all of that, just pick three rings at random ant throw the rest away.
You can now assemble your sandwich. At this point You need to put both halves together, take the largest bite you can get in your mouth, swallow then get back in the truck to go back to work.
