In all of the recent news about the pedophiles getting arrested and sentenced, digital devices are involved in all of those prosecutions. They seem to be sharing unencrypted files on two or three social media sites, wide open chats about it, ect
If the information monitoring is really as through as you claim, then the powers that be are allowing the pedophiles to get away with it and 99% of what they do.
