I've been right alongside one of those in a boat. So close I could smell its breath.

Thankfully it didn't breach like the one in the video.

I have to see a whale up close! It's on my bucket list. Biggest living creatures on the planet...at least that we know of.

Mrs. Fascinus booked us on a charter many years ago. It was awesome!

We saw a bunch of Dolphins and Humpbacks before the Bluey showed up.

Evidently, we were very lucky. Another couple told us they'd been out on the same tour twice before and hadn't seen any whales previously.

Ive been through the Bering Straight in July. Whales as far as the eye can see. Ive seen them mating twice. Jaques Cousteau didnt even film that until shortly before his death. I saw a pod of Orcas near Vancouver. They kept up with my ship effortlessly
