Don't ever rely on your first amendment "freedom of muh speech" to keep you from being arrested. There are so many rules, regulations and legislation to subvert the first amendment it's obscene. Don't EVER EVER expect the police to protect YOUR rights. That rarity is from a bygone era and won't happen today.

Then my bad. I wasn't referring to the guy in the post but speaking overall from 26 years of criminal defense. But I haven't practiced in...probably two years. Got sick of the "justice" system being so perverse I turned in my bar card.

He was specifically targeting someone repeatedly when the victim told him to not communicate with him. That's harassment and stalking.
