Pretty sure all of these would wreck my walls...and fail to hold my picture frames.

Oh, come on!
If you properly set that CQR in your wall, it would TOTALLY hold! Depending on what your walls are made of, of course.

If your walls are made of mud and poop, perhaps the simple mushroom anchor would do!
