That's what my wife & her coworker said and right the day before the deadline their company backed down. all the suckers who went running with their arms out who got it had to feel like stupid idiots.

Some of them are having major health problems. That's for sure. My wife knows now who to have in her circle and who not. I explained to her that those same people would hand her over to the wolves at the first sight of trouble. It made her see reality a little better.

No, you don’t understand what I’m saying. I’m saying that these people need to grow a pair and quit getting permission to not do things they don’t want to do. I don’t need a permission slip to not get the vax. My waiver is “fuck you, I’m not getting it. I don’t give a fuck who you think you are and what you say.”

I do get what you're saying, and while I think going to public school is dumb, and I woudln't do it, I'm not going to scold or whatever someone who does.

For a while I was worried about losing my job because of the mandate and I looked into all the options including medical exemptions and religious exemptions. I never needed to go down either path but I did talk to my doctor about it. I do in fact have some medical history that would have been a counter-indicator and it would have been a very reasonable medical exemption. My doctor told me very frankly that the medical board of the state had informed all doctors that they would lose their medical license if they signed off on any medical exemption to the vax unless it was for "PEG Allergy". At least my state warned doctors up front what the consequence would be but there is no other way to describe this except as Medical Tyranny.
