I've known far too many women that crowed about being bi as a way to make them appear more sophisticated or open minded while they only ever dated men. They like the idea of it but won't sacrifice their social or romantic lives to it.

and knowing women and their need to puff themselves up to hide who they really are, and the misery and loneliness of lesbianism, I'll agree with the headline. Most lesbianism is forced. There are always the rare mental defectives but they aren't even close to making up the majority of women that say they're dikes.

If a woman is completely nonsexual there are still far more advantages to dating men and too many disadvantages to dating women. If a woman is completely disinterested in sex or romantic relationships (there are a lot more of those than there are muffscrubbers) than she will date and eventually marry a man because every woman will demand from her spouse the same thing she would if that spouse was a man, i.e. they need to leave them alone when they want to be left alone, smother them when they need attention, pay for everything, kiss her ass and agree with her constantly and not fight. What woman would do that when it's much easier to date a man?
