This article infuriates me. That it needs to be written is bad enough, but that's not my real issue with it.

My real issue is that the author felt they had to remain anonymous to avoid potential backlash.

Think about that for a second. Someone writing verifiable truth that has been true since time began has to remain anonymous for fear of their life being ruined. Meanwhile, someone openly bragging about how they're abusing their child and ruining their life before the kid can even read can publish under their real name and not only be protected, but celebrated by the barking seals everywhere.
