The optics of such reality illustrates an absurd detachment from the practical aspects and mechanics of every day life...there are very dumb, stupid fuck, people in government today who think they rule but are fuck all...ban plastic straws but mandate the use of DEF conditioner in diesel engines that comes in 2gal plastic disposable jugs, twice the size of windshield washer fluid....these stupid fucks would shoot the horse that pulled their plow because they don't like the way it walks...
It's like upper management in a manufacturing company. They are completely disconnected from reality regarding their assumptions or expectations. It's mind boggling. At least at my company. I'm a supervisor in between management and production/assembly team.
Generator is probably not running 24/7. It's probably for backup when the power grid goes out unless this is some remote area and then what would be the point of it running constantly.
Doesn't make financial sense to run the generator 24/7 no matter how you look at it or to not just get your electricity from the grid. That's FAR cheaper than creating it from a generator locally.
Silly example.
The shit part about batteries is they take forever to charge and they burn the shit out of everything no matter what you do if there is an accident and they are damaged in certain ways.
It is in the middle of the outback. The primary power source is supposed to be solar from those panels up top, with the diesel as backup. But the panels get dusty and power generation drops to nothing, so you get situations like the video where it's running in the middle of the day and likely 24/7.
Good thing you did away with plastic straws and bags and replaced them with street shitters at least now they can't shit in the biodegradable bags and it'll go straight to the plants!

Eh more like "because it farts" but the principle is the same. Then they'd replace it with a methane-filled balloon and call it progress.

Do you know how big 200kw of panels would be?
And you would need huge battery banks to store the power.
For one charge station.
That could charge maybe a dozen cars a day.
