"I tried to discuss all this with my non-Jewish therapist and it was just...a complete disaster. I ended up having to shut off the zoom call early and literally went sobbing to my sister. My therapist literally denied the massacre TO MY FACE ... I tried to talk about a really disturbing video I saw where men were gleefully talking about terrorizing and raping Jewish women and my therapist said it was "spliced together" and fake. Literally every concern I brought up of extremely well-documented things? Fake. Propaganda. I asked how people could bring themselves to tear down posters of captured children who have literally done nothing wrong and my therapist bursts out with "what about the 16,000 dead Palestinians?" Obviously I don't want innocent people to die but she just completely dismissed literally ever concern and fear I had like it was somehow okay and attacked me.
