Eh, it was a good time. When it wasn’t fucking terrifying, heartbreaking, or goddamn enraging.

The younger me would have been angry at the older me for “not being very patriotic” or one of those dumbass truthers.

Dude, that last sentence is gold. That’s exactly where I’m at in life right now. I’m stuck in a hole I can’t seem to find a way out of yet. I spent all the time in the military and not getting those papers that certify I know shit and now I can’t afford to not work to go get one. The shitfuckery is everywhere.

You still got time. I'm in the process of telling my kids that defending your country is okay, but not in the state it's in now. And you can much better defend your country from INSIDE your home/town than going off, fighting jew wars, so let's get back out to the range.

You can go pick up real world skills, using some bullshittery with the veteran angle. Get the VA to pay for some papers if you have to. If I had it to do all over again, I'd pick up something ridiculous like underwater welding. Those motherfuckers get PAID. Hell, even tell some school you identify as a black trans-disabled lesbian indigenous something or other for grant/scholarship stuff. They're not even allowed to question it, and you might as well use real goat money to help real goats.

I did aviation with the Army, so that was the route I took, til my Army shit caught up with me, and now I'm just a damn gimp.

Im not giving up or living in a pity party. It’s definitely a crazy ride I’m living though. Most VA stuff doesn’t apply to me because I am 0% disability and not a minority. So I’m doing what I can to figure this out. One thing is that I can say that I fucking earned it when I get back up.
