My first taxable job was working McDonald's drive thru at 15. McD's did beanie baby's as happy meal toys that summer. What a shit show that was. We had creepy childless adults buying multiple happy meals. Women and faggots yelling at us, demanding to see every variation of colors and patterns we had in stock before they moved on to the next McDonald's on their quest to collect the whole set. Management was constantly guarding them and taking inventory to make sure not a single one was stolen. You'd think we were handing out gold coins from all the hype
