If you want to know just how utterly fucked the current romantic situation is in the world, allow me to explain my experience on a dating site called BeautifulPeople.com...

My only intention with this is to do good, this isn't even about me, in fact, that's why I came to the anonymous parts of the internet in the first place.

Soooooooo...where to begin?

I am not famous, and that was by choice. Some of the Goats of the Old Voat community have video chatted with me and know what I look like. So they might believe me when I say the following:

I'm old enough to remember life before social media, and even before cell phones were common. I remember going through the beginnings of puberty just when kids were starting to get cell phones, and I remember how everything changed by the time I was graduating high school, and youtube had just started, and I entered collage, and facebook was just taking off. I personally walked through that shit show just like the rest of you.

Speaking of facebook taking off, just like, I think, most the guys my age, I got on facebook and started adding all the girls I thought were attractive, unlike most guys, they ALL accepted my request. Little did I, or anyone else, know, but I was becoming was would eventually be called "Facebook Famous". Now, it is called "being an influencer". I ended up with tens of thousands of female followers.

Unfortunately for me, or fortunately (I'm still trying to figure this all out), because no one understood what I was doing, there was a certain kind of loss of support for me in my real life. And that sucked for me, obviously, but it sucked for those who didn't like what I was doing, because basically a number of years later, seeing what was going on with women, and men too, they all wished there was a guy like me who was Facebook Famous.

Because they remembered the posts I made that were of a, shall we say, political nature, and they finally realized what I was trying to do with social media at the time. And what I would have done. I basically would have had the experience I had on Voat, but on facebook, but influencing many of the women that were following me at the same time. But that was probably never going to work, because how would I have had the experience I had on Voat, on Facebook?

I remember one facebook post in-particular that was brought to my attention by a very influential, adult, presence in my life around, I want to say, 2011. That post simply said: I don't think the women my age should decide to be sluts.

I asked what was so wrong about it? He said it's offensive. I said, but I didn't call them sluts, I said they shouldn't decide to be that. He said I shouldn't have used the word slut though, and I said that's...their...word. That's the word they're using. And I proceeded to tell him about an experience I had at college one night.

I had seen posters about "slut walks" for a few months, but didn't know what it was nor cared enough to look it up. So imagine my surprise when a huge group of girls at my college were coming in the opposite direction on the sidewalk to me, in their underware, some without bras, and all with the word slut painted on their bodies.

It was actually terrifying. I jumped behind a bush so they wouldn't see me as they walked by, but, of course, right next to that bush was where they decided to do their huge demonstration that night, so I had to sit their terrified, as they said one awful thing about men after the other, and THAT is why I went on facebook and immediately said: I don't think the women my age should decide to be sluts.

That person who finally asked me about the post then asked why I hadn't told anyone, and I said that you're the first to ask. I also said: until just now I didn't know everyone was outraged by it. I asked why anyone even was outraged by it, it's not like I said they should be sluts.

Suffice it to say, after I said that on facebook, whatever facebook fame I had was gone, which was fine, or would have been, because I never even really wanted to be famous anyways. It just kind of started happening on facebook. And I really mean I never wanted to be famous, because, in my senior year of high school I was in a very special film class. It had been written about in some very high profile publications. I was a great success in that class.

They all saw how when I walked down the hallway in school everyone, and I mean EVERYONE stared at me. They all said how difficult it must be to go through life and have no one to talk to about it, because how could anyone relate? They told me, if I wanted to, with their connections, they could find a famous man for me to talk to. They asked me if I had any ideas in mind, and I said Johnny Depp, because all the girls at school always handed me pictures of him and said I should dress like that. But they said if I did that it would be me deciding to be famous, and I thought about it, and said...

No...

They couldn't believe it. I think one girl was about to start crying, and I explained to her that so many girls handed me pictures of him that it got annoying, so I used google to try to find pictures of him around high school, and I finally found one, because that was way before myspace, so there weren't many pictures of him at that time. And I told her that he just wore jeans and white t-shirt, which is how I basically dressed at the time. I also explained to her how, while doing my research on him, it dawned on me that he was basically a walking billboard for fashion brands, and how I didn't want any of that.

Our teachers then proceeded to explain to our class just how fake the entertainment world is, not the nasty stuff, but just the basics.

Anyways, I know the title of the post is about my experience on beautifulpeople.com, and I'll get to that, but I've probably written enough for right now. I'll just leave you a link to the video I watched this morning that even caused me to write this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I20939T12QE

TL;DR.

Go out and meet real people, FACE TO FACE, instead of taking the risk with others abusing the internet.

Correct.

People are over stimulated by short video content they make and consume.

It leads to a kind of hyper-reality.

The most viewed are just seen appearing to blow money on luxury. A lot of that is just faked, it's acting.

Many people are not trying to self improve, they have given up and just want to watch others.

Naturally many women will strive to participate in this, not realizing it is just fake, and they must act as actresses in their own movie because whose movie could they act in? Presently socializing consists of participating in this hyper-reality.

Say they took a degree and tried a normal job. Forty percent of their income goes to housing. It takes four years income to buy a house in cash. If they take a loan at 7% it is worse. And even worse if they are renting and trying to save for a house. Also if they took loans they have to pay those back, and there is no guarantee they get a job.

So instead people get sucked into trying to be famous via the Internet.

To have something real they actually have to make sure they are trading time for something improving their life and not for a folly. You can be successful via Internet fame, and you also have to know that in some cases the traditional path is littered with financial traps.

Finally, our economy is tied to oil. And the biden administration and WEF want to cast people into poverty and strife. So that is a huge part of why life is miserable for the young, along with the 20 million illegal immigrants, Ukraine, and funds for Israel.

LMFAO what sort of world are you living ion where the average man can buy a house in cash after just four years of saving?

Would it surprise you or not to learn of the recent death of a mutual friend of ours?

I said jumpsuit because...you really don't remember the red jumpsuit and the character you created on the spot "Jumpsuit J***"...? It was the car salesman's son unfortunately. It happened in May...

I don’t give a fuck what you asked. Your kike ass isn’t about to come at me sideways like that and expect to get a respectful conversation.

Name one thing in the post that is bullshit.

Because none of it was bullshit. It's all true.

[ - ] MasklessTheGreat 0 points 6 monthsNov 5, 2023 19:59:25 ago (+0/-0)

Ok, you’re a fucking idiot. You wrote a bigass bunch of shit. I called it bullshit. I didn’t say any of it was bullshit, or a lie. I just called it bullshit just like I’d call it crap or whatever else. You’re so wrapped around the axle of defending your stance on whatever it was that you aren’t understanding what’s going on. The truth is that your thread title is click bait because the content of all that bullshit you typed doesn’t answer your title. So fuck you.
