If you are going to refuse an offer of everything you asked for (except the genocide of your enemy) as the Palestinians did in 2006, you had better be able to back it up with a military victory. Attacking a few thousand folks at a concert and in their homes is not enough.

This. I don't believe that concert attack was legitimate. Hamas is probably 1% jews and 99% useful muzzy idiots, but that concert reeks of a false flag. They managed to psyop part of Hamas and hype them up for the attack. They directed it at a group that likely had a considerable collection of anti-israeli-government jews. They were taking out their dissidents while pulling a Pearl Harbor of their own to generate the political capital they needed to stomp on Gaza, taking more land and genociding the muzzies.
