Really not that different from what we call real doctors.

What I find funny is that the ones on YouTude do the big lead in of getting the patients to describe all their problems. Then do the exact same "adjustments" no matter what the symptoms on all the patients.

Probably 80% of the realignment that chiropractors do can be achieved at home by yourself:

Decompress your spine by hanging from a bar for as long as you can if you can’t do pullups.

Realign your spine by putting a comforter on the floor and sleeping on either your back or your stomach. Some back problems are from these mattresses being too soft.

EDIT: Another trick you can do to crack your back is to lay on your back on a hard floor, bring your knees into your chest and hold them with your arms wrapped around your shins and rock back and forth 3 or 4 times onto your shoulder blades.

I had the most amazing chiropractor. He actually had passion for the craft, he wasn't just a C grade med student that dropped out and settled for chiropractic. Every time I threw my back out, dislocated a rib, or needed an arm put back in it's socket, he got the job done.

I had help from 2 chiropractors. Immediate relief for a relatively small fee. And a Chink acupuncturist cured my horrible sciatica after 3 visits. I was a huge sceptic, now not so much.
