The shooter's mom lived in the apartment below and he thought them simply walking in their own home was just too darn loud. He had been harassing them for years. Cops found him yesterday with a patrol cruiser using a license plate reader. They got him surrounded when he tried to flee on foot after existing the car with a knife. He wound up charging the police and they shot him. He died in the hospital.
