what she should have said is you can still have a lower effective rate but be hurt more.
50% to a billionaire is more managable than 20% to a poor or middle class. Not that thats fair but its the argument socialists always make to chase the rich away.
Also the definition of whatever he calls "middle class" is wrong. The "middle class" is now "poor" when you adjust for inflation.
This is a 95 IQ prick picking on a 75 IQ sheboon moron, neither of whom should be on tv.
it's a kike using a nigger to discredit the idea of "taxes are bad" by putting on someone who can't defend her argument to dismiss the argument in it's infancy in other people
Cori Anika Bush is an American politician, nurse, pastor, and Black Lives Matter activist serving as the U.S. representative for Missouri's 1st congressional district, since 2021. The district includes all of the city of St. Louis and most of northern St. Louis County.
I wish she were stupid enough to ask Why are we doing it all?
You think it came up in any of their meetings? I bet it did. Then some "smart" person said something something greater good and the rest of the lemmings nodded their heads in agreement.
Just so you all know progressive taxes are literally communism. Literally communism.
It's the idea that "nobody needs more than a certain amount, so tax all the rest". The only reason they don't just take all past a certain amount is because they completely remove the incentive to work harder by doing that. So it's actually more insidious.
I wish people could figure out we don't have capitalism. Like please god. Do you all realize keeping up this farce belief props up the whole fucking fake system? It relies on you keeping your eye on the slight of hand misdirection.
I have no problem with people that are obsessed in owning pocessions, and who labour more than others in the persuit of income. My problem is with consumption, especially obscene consumption. The family living in a modest dwelling that uses say 1000 kilowatts a month should pay .12/kilowatt. The family that lives in a 5000 squarefoot dwelling that feels the need to light it up at night, condition the air and uses 20,000 kilowatts a month to do so should pay $2.40/kilowatt. Same with water usage. Drive a miserly 20 year old car, you should have a ration card everyone is issued that the first 10 gallons of fuel is $1.00/gallon. The next 10 gallons cost you $4.00/ gallon. Without the card or after the card has been exhausted gas should be $10.00 a gallon. You buy a "new" car that costs $20,000 your tax should be almost exempt. Taxes should be progressive the more austentatious the vehicle.
"Fair share" ALWAYS means more money taken from you and given to "me".
If the tax rate were "fair" everyone would pay 10-20% of their income with no exemptions and that money would fund all government projects until it was gone.
The government should run like I manage my checkbook. Never mmore money going out than what comes in, tough choices being made monthly.
OP needs to have a lightbulb moment and realize that we are over taxed, the system is extortionate and corrupt, and the (((wealthy))) absolutely don't pay taxes.
The put a nigger saying it and looking stupid to gasslight us into supporting (((taxes))). Fucking kikes are devious.
Democrats like to project that the MAGA group is stupid. No, they understand taxes and how much is being taken because they work for a living. Fraud that is the welfare system isnt correcting itself without help. Lets help it.

Because the billionaire still has no problem covering basic living costs whereas the 20% for the poor person might mean they can't afford rent.

How'd we go from "income tax is unconstitutional horseshit" to "progressive tax is communism". As if there should be an income tax at all.
