whether its right or wrong, I know a guy who married a girl who had a toddler. The biological dad is a drug junkie loser and never had anything to do with the kid, even to this day and the kid is almost 18. They then went on and had two more kids shortly after getting together. He raised the kid as his own. He taught the kid the right way and the kid went on to be a great athlete all throughout school and got a scholarship to college and has a bright future. He's a good kid. He considers this man his dad. The wife has always been a decent woman. Done everything she was supposed to.

so I'm kind of split on raising others kids. I get why many men don't want to. As long as the kid is white I really don't see no prob with it. Its life. I can't condemn a kid because his parent is a pos----sins of the father and all that.

Come on, those two things don't go together, she's just as much to blame for choosing that guy.

Nature intended for men to treat their own kids better than one of another father - it takes a lot of resources to bring up a child, especially one that doesn't have anything to do with you, it's gonna feel in the realms of cuckoldery for most.

It's also worth noting the dangers of being a desperate single mother looking for a surrogate dad, there's no one to protect the kid from degenerate predators who use the mother as access. Such an unnecessary risk.

Sounds like your friend is a good guy who made it work, but there's a reason why Christians say sex before marriage is a sin, women should reap what they sow.

It is totally possible for a good individual to get with a deceptive pos, happens all the time.
