Edit ~ I don't mean there's no danger. I mean hippos are massive and quick, and all that muscle & fat is from a diet of slimy water plants. It's amazing.

There was an iPhone ad years back with a hippo walking or swimming underwater and jumping through a boats wake. Thing was stupid fast. Would not want to be kayaking around those fuckers.

They have really large brains too so are thought to be really bright. They likely can't test them as the hippos would fuck them up.

Brain size has nothing to do with intelligence. It's brain size in relation to body mass.
