If a user did something stupid and wanted advice, it is way to keep it from following your account. For instance:

I was working on my air conditioner and I put the wrong freon type in it. Any anons able to tell me how to fix this?

That's what I was saying, @system, that the people who want to shit up this site are simply using the anon subs as a bypass for receiving the recompense of their error (downvotes) in an attempt to bleed us dry (of downvotes) so they can flood the site with more bullshit.

You can block individual anon posters. If a user abuses anon just block them. This operates separately from blocking their username.

Click block inside their thread next to Save. For comments it's next to Link.

I should make a mega thread explaining this stuff. Just fyi you cant unblock individual anon posters yet, but you can clear all anon blocks in your account settings and clicking "View blocked users" and then clicking "clear anon blocks".

Blocking an anon user blocks all their anon posts. If you want to block all anon posts you could block all the anon subs.

Anon subs are absolutely and utterly without any value. I got sick of looking at the most inane, retarded, and drama-stirring post titles on Voat and blocked all of them.

Love240's comment about how anon subs are abused is right on the nose, although the root problem is the Voat userbase, not the anon posters. If all of you were to block the anon subs, it would isolate activity on those subs to just those people who think anon subs contribute to the board. If you think they are a blight, you know what to do.
