That grease won't settle in those pipes, it will screw up the Wastewater pumping station or treatment plant. Even if he had to call a plumber, he could probably pass the bill on to her for negligence and abuse. It might. Meat fats melt from 85° to 140°. Stuff on the higher end could be pretty resilient. If you have a septic system you might need more than a plumber. Eventually you'll need a new drain field.

A landlord with less than 5 properties (iirc) is not bound to the Equal Housung Act in the US.

That's exactly why I don't buy real estate and rent it. I know a guy, a few actually, but this one guy was smart during the recession and bought ~5 houses with/for his retirement.

He was doing pretty well last time I talked to him, even during covid. What he said was, "I finally got some good renters in and I told them I'd let them pay me late during the shutdown because I didn't want to lose them. It's hard finding Good Renters. Absolutely worth it to me to let them slide for 2 months."

- These are white middle class areas though, to be clear.

Here in Germany, landlords are evicting people in order to rent the property to the city to host refugees. They get a lot more money that way.

I've been aquatinted with a guy who had 80+ units all in section 8. He owned some kind of jet warbird and lived a pretty baller life. Owning section 8 rules.

He probably had an L-39 variant, most likely a C; they seem to be the most common in the hands of GA pilots. They're reasonably affordable... to purchase. Cost of operation per hour is ridiculous. Totally badass, though. If I had that kind of fuck you money, it'd be one of the first things I buy.
