1. Kids (up to the age of 13-16) don't have full brain development when dealing with shock and trauma. I remember being 14 and learning a good friend had killed himself (bullet to the head). My immediate reaction was to laugh. Obviously, I didn't intend to laugh ... shit wasn't funny. But, my brain simply couldn't process it. The trauma of hearing / seeing her parents die still isn't real to her ... she can't process it. All pretty normal.
2. Importantly: What's proven if you are right? That this is are zero fatalities and they can't find at least one real sob story to parade thru the news cycle? I don't think anyone is going to say there are zero fatalities ... that's silly.
3. And, more to the point: The fuckers who are running this war from safe bunkers in Tel Aviv (and Washington) have zero qualms about killing a few thousand of their own soldiers and civilians. In fact ... it's the opposite ... they NEED the collateral damage so that they can have justification for their continued war crimes. (Remember ... Hamas is funded / controlled by the IDF...)
If you are going to suggest that there are zero -real- causalities to parade in front of the camera (such that they would need to hire / train actors), then you must believe that (a) they are near perfect strategic planners and (b) have a deep sense of respect for human life, or at least the lives of their fellow tribe members. I personally find those ideas to be laughable.
Do I feel bad for these kids? No, fuck 'em. Not my pig, not my farm. But, are they actors? Unbelievably unlikely. And those who push this narrative are distracting from the real issue here.
