Well, he claimed he did twelve years ago. I'm not saying his mind has changed. It probably hasn't, and given the commitment these rats have to being everything-pro-Israel at this precise moment in time, he might even restate that wish.

At the same time, it's a twelve-yr old quote. I think Ben is giving us plenty of material for critique at this very moment without having to dig up tweets that are more than a decade old. Or, we can say that perhaps these are interesting for our purposes, but we shouldn't think that in this culture, with its 4-second attention span, anybody is going to pay much attention to things people said that long ago. I mean, you hear people "on our side" complaining constantly about a cancel culture that wants there to be repercussions for 12-yr old quotes.
